Road Construction Complaints.

This is the report that was video taped this past Sunday (2-8-9) by me at the Pennsylvania & Main St., construction job approved by the city. Of the few projects that survived budget cuts, this was a much needed work on the sewer system of that area but was it done properly?

I took some pictures prior to making the video posted, and by what I saw at the time it seemed to be properly managed and looked cared for until I got to the corner of the Pennsylvania Ave & Broad Street. There it seemed to be the opposite where the work looked a bit sloppy and not so well cared for as the rest of that road stretch. It is understandable that during the winter season they would be limited as to how much could be done considering the weather but some issue could not be so easily excused.

I have always kept an open invitation for the public officials to express their own opinions as to issues posted, and although I have yet to get any response from them, the invitation is still open.
I manage to get at least 3 of the residents at the time to enter or record their complaints on video where I then posted them on YouTubes linked site and here as well just below this article. Comments are welcomed especially from those involved.

Police Department on the Chopping block of the City Budget

Issue is resolved, the police department saved after heated town meeting and news media coverage (MY9 News). I did not speak at the meeting, only taped it on a little camcorder until I ran out of tape (not a professional camera man). I was happy to see that 1 out of the many news services I contacted by multiple emails, showed up to cover the event (Channel 9) and felt a little bit intimidated by the camera man's big camera (oh well). Although I choose not to speak at the meeting but tape it, I will express my opinions here at this newly created Blog location dedicated to our town.
